Housing for summer stays in Brussels
SUMMER STAY IN BRUSSELS FOR STUDENTS AND INTERNS

Are you staying in Brussels between July 1st and September 14th for an internship, a master course, a summer school,…? Are you looking for affordable, clean and safe housing in the heart of Europe, within walking distance of the Grand-Place and the European Parliament?
Quartier Latin offers student apartments to rent from a period of 14 days to 2 months. The rooms are spacious (min. 13 square meter), each has its own shower, desk, bed with linen, internet connection and a common kitchen.

Prices & Practicalities:
The Brussels International Student Centre is a magnificent Beaux-Arts building located on the Avenue Bisschoffsheim in the center of Brussels.
A single room will cost you €22 per day, a double room will cost you €36 per day (€18 per person if the room is occupied by two persons). This is the all-in price, so you don’t have to pay extra for electricity, water or Internet. We do ask a warrant of €30 for the key. When your stay is shorter than a month, you pay at arrival, when you’re staying longer; you pay the rest at the beginning of the second month.

WORLD CUP VILLAGE 2010
WORLD CUP VILLAGE 2010

World Cup Village (WCV) is a project developed by Filippo Marino in collaboration with Espace53 Restaurant/Bar located in Autoworld, Parc du Cinquantenaire. The aim of the project is to create a unique place and atmosphere to show the entire World Cup Tournament.

The location is unique in itself and can satisfy all tastes. It is comprised of an internal area with 6 TV screens, a huge bar, the restaurant, and a VIP area at the back that will be used for corporate events/dinner/watching your favourite matches. The area in total is of 500m2, with an outside terrace of 200m2 with two maxi screens, a bar and a BBQ area.

It will be the PLACE TO WATCH the World Cup this year as it will be different: not only it offers two different atmospheres with possibility of having two separate VIP areas (at the back and on the terrace); but also a new way to watch football in a classy, friendly and international environment. In addition one of the key features will be the organisation of a draw of the two maxi screens located on the terrace. The guests will have the right to take part in the draw by receiving a tombola ticket. The draw will then take place after the semifinals.

Location
Expace53 is located between two metro stations (Schuman and Merode) and there are 400 car park spaces just outside on the esplanade du Cinquantenaire.

Organiser
Filippo Marino (as WCV project manager) has an outstanding reputation in organising meetings, workshops, seminars, and social events for the expatriate and EU community in Brussels. Since 2003, Filippo has been managing, creating and organising a wide variety of events for trade associations (for example Green Apero http://www.consider.be/www/greenapero), businesses, regional representations and other political actors such as MEPs and political groups. In addition he has successfully organized many social and networking events, which are very well known in the Brussels arena. In fact it is exactly in Espace53 that he organizes Hot Nights parties (www.brusselshotnights.com) that always have a minimum attendance rate of 850 people. Moreover he organizes EuroVillage afterwork at Quartier Leopold (www.european-village.eu) and soon at Spirito Martini one Thursday a month as well as other smaller social events such as Expats Networking in Brussels.

The Participants have following general profile
